Vacum retainers are clear and transparent aligner that is fitted on the top and lower arch after the braces are removed.
These need to be worn day and night for the first year. |

Metallic bonded retainer
Bonded retainers are positioned behind the upper and or lower 6 front teeth to maintain their position and keep them aligned. Patients do not need to remember to keep their retainer in as it is there all the time. |

Clear bonded retainer
It is a clear retainer that is bonded in place behind the upper and or lower arch. This option is visually more natural for the patient and means the patient does not have to try and remember to keep it in all the time. |
