Fern qualified from the University of Bordeaux in France in 1984 as a Dental Surgeon. She completed post-graduated training in Orthodontics in Paris in 1993 and achieved UK specialist registration. She is a member of The British Orthodontic Society (BOS). As well as an active clinician, Fern attends up-to-date courses in all aspects of orthodontics and contributes regularly to French professional publications including the following articles: “is there a method to convince a child to stop sucking their thumb overnight", Psychology of the smile” and “memories about patients: Cecile, Manon etc...)
Fern is a highly talented and respected clinician in her field with over 20 years experience. Her philosophy is rarely to extract teeth unless absolute necessity working with the last generation of arch wires, using light forces to move teeth into position and to keep them healthy. Fern’s skill in communication is excellent and she will help to give you a clear understanding of your problem and will offer different options for you to choose from.
Fern has followed the most up-to-date training courses in the UK with Dr Bob KHanna for facial rejuvenation treatment using Botox and Derma fillers and is a member of the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA). Her experience in this field gives her the opportunity to achieve the best synergy between orthodontics and facial rejuvenation treatment and to introduce a new concept for her adult patients: “the dental facelift” which enables create a better balance of a patients profile without the need or cost of surgical procedures.
